Software design and implementation for next-generation, Web 2.0 (Node.js), WorkFlow-as-a-Service (WFaaS) & Digital-Rights-Management-as-a-Service (DRMaaS) for cloud-based, semiconductor design methodology & Intellectual Property (IP) Digital Rights Management (DRM). Translate cloud-based architectural specifications into production deployment for semiconductor supply chain. Work closely with CTO and VP of Engineering in architectural decisions, trade-offs, and then code and test the solution within lab and user environments. Ability to think creatively on alternate solutions through performance analysis within the context of large scale cloud computing load metrics and then perform a closed-loop re-code, test, qualify, and deploy cycle. Able to understand complex data modeling and “Big Data†analytics in noSQL environments within the context of the implemented WFaaS & DRMaaS implemented services.
SmartOS/Illumos OS kernel & device driver development for cloud-based, WorkFlow-as-a-Service (WFaaS) & Intellectual Property (IP) Digital Rights Management (DRM). Ability to compile & port open source SmartOS/Illumos kernel and device driver code to a variety of cloud-based images and commodity hardware. Will need to take C++ device driver code for network, storage, graphical desktop, graphics acceleration & display and compile, port, test, and qualify the final build & deployment for Intel Next Unit of Computing (NUC) and Cisco UCS server hardware. Assist in building SmartOS images and libraries for cloud-based image libraries incorporated as part of a cloud orchestration middleware package.
Lead Reference Workflow Engineer will work in collaboration with CTO, VP of Engineering, leading Electronic Design Automation (EDA) ISVs, semiconductor manufacturing foundries, 3rd party Intellectual Property (IP), and customer design teams to define, specify, integrate, test, and support a variety of digital and analog semiconductor reference workflows to be deployed in SCI’s semiconductor design cloud computing based WorkFlow-as-a-Service (WFaaS) & Digital-Rights-Management-as-a-Service (DRMaaS) infrastructure.
